FRUKO Y SUS TESOS


This story began when Julio Ernesto Estrada, in his youth, he traveled to New York as part of the Corraleros Majagual and had the opportunity to get closer to the stars of a new musical movement that was just knowing the name of salsa. Fruko came to fret about this genre in the mid-sixties and began to propose the idea to the managers of Discos Fuentes, Pedro and José María, to create a Colombian group with this style.

The orchestra and its Tesos Fruko, born after Joseph and Mary Pat Fisher Fruko saw a very promising future. They believed in the project and encouraged him to record a first LP in 1970, which, as all trials that begin, hardly resonates. This event, as expected, made ​​Fruko and Messrs.
